Mammoth WVH, 'Don't Back Down' -- New Video

Mammoth WVH just released a live clip video for the song "Don't Back Down." The song is on the upcoming debut album due June 11. I am digging this track and the video - and I will get the album next Friday, too. New rock for the weekend!

Like this song the best of the ones I have heard. Clearly, the guy has talent even if his particular sound is not my forte. Nice to see he is getting an opening slot with GnR. Good gig.

But . . . and this just might be me . . . but . . . does anyone else think the guitars (esp. at the start) sound like Nashville P***y's "High as Hell" mixed with some of the more rocking, old school, numbers by The Darkness?

Still wishing him the best of luck.

That song definitely cooks. Like Him stated, a little too “modern sounding” tone wise for me, (as in, drop C tuning and excessively overdriven amps) but that is just the old guy in me being finicky. Kid oozes talent and comes across a lot like his Dad. As in,easygoing and approachable. Give ‘em hell on the GNR tour Wolf. 🤟

Love me some Nashville Pussy Him. The band to confirm. Saw NP open for Mötorhead in lik 1999 at L’Amour in Brooklyn. Formidable show in my development as a student and lover of Rock n Roll. Lemmy often gave women in rock a ton of opportunities. NP was worthy. Dirty rock n roll that’ll keep the prudes at home. Thanks for the jolt to my memory

Great minds think alike, Kixchix. Glad to give rise to some good memories. I saw them far later than you (man, I wish I had been at that show with you!), but they were sleazy and great rock.
