No New Steel Panther Bassist (Yet)

Rumors are swirling that Steel Panther has a new bass player. Lexxi Foxx left the band several weeks ago and the remaining members of Steel Panther have been conducting online auditions. Apparently, bass player Phil Buckman posted a photo of himself online playing with the Panther and folks assumed he had the job locked up. Apparently no decision has yet been made.

This must be so hard... how do you replace a lexxie? What type or style of bassist do you pick?

I wish Sixx would try out for the gig. He has, well, he has, hmm, a connection with the band? They could then merge as Sixx Panther or Steel AM. Part of their set would be great. The other part? Not so much.
