Certainly not glam, but I would go with Priest, King's X, and Faith No More (in no particular order). Then again, Allyson was simply doing a Pride shout-out, irrespective of a specific genre or the subs thereof.

That said, metal's a big tent with a big parking lot! Can welcome and hold all sorts. Which is a great thing.
