Drum Playthrough: 'welcome2paradise'

It's time for another Conquer Divide drum playthrough. I love watching these clips - and you might recall I shared Sam's (Samantha Landa) playthrough for the band's song "Atonement" a few months back. Well, her work on "welcome2paradise" is just as epic. She's a badass! In another life, I'll learn to play just like her.

I LOVE watching drummers. I played when I was a kid, but I could NEVER play like that. I could play all the rudiments; 5-stroke rolls, 9-stroke rolls, flams, paradiddles... but I just never got the right "feel" to let me play loose. My wife even bought me a kit about 10 years ago. I started playing around on it, watched some online tutorials, had some fun, but then lost interest because I just wasn't good enough at it. But, I still love watching people who do FEEL it and can play the sh!t out of their drums! I think I may have mentioned this in another post recently, but if you want to check out another amazing drummer, look for The Warning! Pau Villareal also joins in on some lead vocals as well!
