Official Video For 'Stand By Me'

A few days ago, I shared the Def Leppard cover of "Stand By Me." Now there is an official video for the track, showing the guys in the recording process, on the road and just goofing off. Also, peep the footage from 1988 when Rick Savage, Phil Collen and Steve Clark performed this same song live with Ben E. King himself (that full video is below, too).

Proceeds from this cover will benefit those impacted by the recent California wildfires.

Thank goodness Ben made the bucks off this song! He deserved them. He was no Jackie Wilson. But that man had a smooth delivery and could emote like very few could!

That video with Lep was like an acid trip. And Phil had his shirt on and wasn't covered in Crisco!!! Seriously though, every time I see 'The Riffmaster' it makes me sad nowadays. Such talent. Such a sad end.

And I originally showed up to see their recent cover ready to slag them. Not this time. A nice cover for a good cause. Well done, boys.
