Sunday's Best: Week 28, 2022

Here we are in mid-July. I can't believe how fast summer is zipping by... the best season of them all!

This is a great clip I stumbled upon: a professional opera singer discovers Aerosmith and Steven Tyler and critiques a live performance of "Crazy." It's adorable seeing her discover Tyler's vocal range and also refers to the song as "early in their career." I hope she looked into them further and found the 70s treasure trove of Aerosmith bliss! This is a fun watch and our Sunday's Best for this week.

I'm still on summer vacation and you're still seeing video clips! So today's video is special because it was shared with me with so much excitement.

The note from Crued: "Girlie.. I got a scoop I think you're gonna dig! I found Canada's answer to Steel Panther. They are named "Mother Rockers" - here's the teaser to their new album. And here's the vid.. and to me the guitar player looks like Ben Stiller Zoolander era and the singer's voice reminds me of Klaus Meine from The Scorpions."

Today's video is a daily chuckle of sorts. It's a Saturday Night Live spoof from 2013 (Season 26) mocking VH1s "Behind The Music" series. Today, "Behind The Music" checks in on some dead rockstars. I laughed the most at the two dead fans wearing Altamont and The Who shirts. But then I have a sick sense of humor sometimes.
