The Bulletboys Premiere New Song

The Bulletboys just released a new song called "Holy F*ck." There's an official video for the song, too. I have to say, the track is pretty darn catchy. A nice rocker for summer.

Ozzy Osbourne Teases New Track 'Patient Number 9'

I happened to be driving yesterday and listening to Hair Nation when the announcer was talking about Ozzy Osbourne dropping a new song this Friday night. The song will actually premiere on SiriusXM. Going from memory, I think it will be on Ozzy's Boneyard at 11:45 p.m.

The new track is called "Patient Number 9." A snippet of the track is below. The song will be on Ozzy's upcoming new album, which is due in September. More later when we get the full song!

Motley Crue - 'Live Wire' - Miami, Florida

The Stadium Tour made a stop in Miami, Florida on Friday and Saturday nights. I have to say, the clip of "Live Wire" below sounds pretty good. It is from the Friday performance.

Vince Neil has better pacing and Mick Mars is up and around. The crowd looks huge from Tommy Lee's photos, also below. Good for them.

Sunday's Best: Week 24, 2022

Happy Father's Day! Happy Juneteenth! Songs about dads will be Sunday's Best for this week.

Amazon Music made a playlist for Father's Day. It's a weird mix of artists, with everything from country to 60s rock to hip hop. I can take a big, hard pass on every country track, but the other selections are pretty good and some downright unique. There might be something new for you to discover here. Enjoy!

James Kottak Swears He Wasn't Drunk At Sweden Rock Festival

The other day I shared videos of a horrible Kingdom Come set at Sweden Rock where drummer James Kottak couldn't keep time. It seemed like he was drunk.

Kottak says he fell out of bed before the gig and broke ribs. He admits to the timing being slower and said he was in excruciating pain. Maybe he was. But then why didn't the band get a fill in? Someone at Sweden Rock probably would have stepped in to help. It's not like there weren't a lot of professional drummers around. In the grand scheme of life, it doesn't matter. But still. Paying customers deserve better.

First Videos Of 'The Stadium Tour' Emerge

The Stadium Tour finally kicked off last night in Atlanta, Georgia. Videos are starting to pop-up on YouTube and I was watching Twitter and some live feeds of the show last night as clips were available. The big news, of course, was that Tommy Lee broke four ribs a couple of weeks ago and couldn't play the whole Motley Crue set. The band had Tommy Clufetos play some songs after Tommy Lee did a few beginning numbers. He also came back to play the piano on "Home Sweet Home."

Vince Neil didn't sound good. I know, you're shocked. A close video of "Girls, Girls, Girls" is available on YouTube only.

Here's a close-up of Mick Mars playing guitar. He's using a stool now. I'm worried about him in this heat and so much traveling.

Here's the Motley opener, "Wild Side" and Tommy Lee is playing this one.

Poison sounded really good from the clips I saw. We've talked about it before: they are a messy, party band. They don't care about making new music but they also don't try to gloss over their sound with backing tracks and fake effects, either. Here's "Nothin' But A Good Time"

Def Leppard sounds great! They should probably just headline every night. I said what I said. "Take What You Want" - in the rain!

"Hysteria" - also in the rain

You know who else sounded bloody great? Joan Jett, that's who! "I Love Rock n' Roll"

Setlists:

Def Leppard played four tracks from their new one Diamond Star Halos! This bucks the nostalgia tour trend, and good for them!
