Make Your Own 'School's Out' Jib Jab!

Everyone knows I love me some Alice Cooper. I always take note whenever I see folks on Twitter mention Alice. Usually, it's just reports of YouTube clips and the like but today I saw people posting "School's Out" Jib Jab videos. Apparently Bravewords posted about it earlier today, hence all the traffic.

Well, I remember Jib Jab from the American politics landscape of "long ago" when we could still have fun with one another over the different parties. Think of all the big-headed politicians turned into cartoons dancing around. The clips were so popular, they always made the news!

Jib Jab is still around and now you can make an end-of year or graduation themed e-card for that student in your life. What's better than setting some congrats to Alice Cooper?

I think this is my favorite Jib Jab of all time... from 2004!

The Stadium Tour Finally Begins Tomorrow... Meanwhile...

The Stadium Tour with Motley Crue and Def Leppard kicks off tomorrow night in Atlanta. Apparently ticket sales are going well - just see the Tweet below.

More on my mind is a new documentary on Vince Neil that will premiere later this month on Reelz. Called My Story, the documentary will allow Vince to tell his side of his life and rise to fame and success. Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee are included in the new film. It debuts Sunday, June 26 at 8 p.m.

I have YouTube TV so I do not have access to Reelz. I'm sure it will be on the regular YouTube shortly after its premiere. Should be interesting to say the least.

Vito Bratta News? Apparently!

So Guitar World has an all-new issue dedicated to the 80s! According to the magazine's website, one hunk of the special edition features former White Lion guitar master Vito Bratta:

Vito Bratta: The reclusive Eighties virtuoso returns to tell his story. The former White Lion guitarist talks soloing, gear and what he’s up to now.

This is cool - but Ultimate Classic Rock says the interview is from 2019. How can that be? Why would the magazine sit on the content for nearly three years? Perhaps the interview was for a book that is in production or got scrapped. Nevertheless, I'm stunned it has taken this long to get the feature out there. Also, a Vito Bratta return to the stage would be epic - but I am not holding my breath.

So Ugly Kid Joe Just Released A New Song

"That Ain't Livin'" is the new Ugly Kid Joe song that just dropped and the official video is below.

The band will release the new album Rad Wings of Destiny at the end of October. There's lots of jokes online about "That Ain't Livin'" sounding like AC/DC. But is that a bad thing? Obviously, AC/DC is one of the biggest rock acts of all time. If Ugly Kid Joe was channeling them here... well, I see no sin! Do you like this new track?

Sunday's Best: Week 23, 2022

For our Sunday's Best this week... it's actually not best. It's the worst, according to folks who attended or performed at this year's Sweden Rock Festival. Apparently Kingdom Come were absolutely terrible. The comments on the Facebook post below are brutal, with many agreeing Kingdom Come's set was the worst performance they had ever attended. The blame is falling on drummer James Kottak. Seems like most fans thought he was drunk. It is quite ridiculous to play for thousands upon thousands of paying fans and not attempt your best. Things happen and people are sick or have off days. But just not caring enough to try and stay sober for a gig really sucks.

Don't even get me started on the fact that Lenny Wolf isn't in the band anymore and he IS Kingdom Come!

Here's a video from the Sweden Rock show. It's pretty bad.

Accept Announces American Tour For The Fall

German metal band Accept will tour the US this fall. The band made the announcement on social media. The tour is in support of the new album Too Mean To Die and will mark Accept's first run of America since the pandemic began.

This tour would be worth attending if you are fan of straight up, old school metal. I've seen Accept live once before and it was a high-energy, no bullshit type of show. The dates and cities are listed below. Accept is one of those bands you should try to see live while you still can!

Wait, There's a Metal Bee Gees Cover Band?

So this is random. Today I stumbled upon a band called Tragedy. They are an "all metal tribute to the Bee Gees and beyond."

I love the Bee Gees and these cover videos seem like a hoot. I mean, the way these guys look while performing disco is a riot. The band put out an album called Disco Balls to the Wall and you can listen to it below. The members of Tragedy are really freaking good musicians. You might enjoy them too!
