Babylon A.D. Share Album Update

Babylon A.D. will release new music sometime this year... and apparently the songs are finished. The other day, the band posted a little update about the album's progress and it seems things are coming along nicely! Babylon A.D. has a gig at the Whisky a Go-Go on June 7, so I would think that would be a perfect time to announce the release date. We will see!

Daughtry, 'Artificial'

Daughtry released the single "Artificial' last summer and it reached number one on the mainstream rock charts last month. I guess because of the song's success on the charts, Octane has been spinning the track pretty regularly and I added it to my running playlist.

The song is not typical Daughtry. In fact, it is heavy and fits right in with the other metalcore songs I love. Apparently, switching to Big Machine Records means Daughtry will be able to release heavier music now than in the past and I like it. A new album is coming that features "Artificial" and I hope all the tracks are in a similar vein!

Sebastian Bach Announces New Solo Album

It's all happening! Sebastian Bach is finally releasing a new album and it will be called Child Within The Man. It is due May 10. Bach also shared the song "Everybody Bleeds" from the album as part of today's announcement.

I Was Right: Bon Jovi To Release Album Called 'Forever'

Yesterday I said all the clues in the "Legendary" teaser video pointed to Bon Jovi's new album being called Forever. I was right. The band officially announced the album title today along with releasing the entire "Legendary" single. Album coming June 7.

Bon Jovi Teases New Music

Bon Jovi will release a new song called "Legendary" tomorrow and they issued a little teaser earlier today on social media. There are lots of references to the word "forever" in the video clip for the song, too. Will that be the title of the upcoming new album?

The Hulu documentary Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story premieres at SXSW tomorrow. Us regular folks will get to see it streaming next month.

M3 Rock Fest Single Day Tickets On Sale Friday

I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet - but M3 Rock Festival single day tickets will finally go on sale this Friday (via Ticketmaster). This is the 15th year of the festival (seems unreal) and it will take place May 4 and 5 at Merriweather Post Pavilion near Baltimore, Maryland. Bret Michaels and Queensryche will headline.

So I Didn't Know This Existed - Merch Edition

Apparently hidden Amazon stores are a thing... and thanks to Cosmopolitan magazine, I now know that there is a massive, "secret" band merch store. The stuff is cheaper than what you would pay at concerts too and the merch is licensed.
