Steel Panther Announce More Tour Dates

Steel Panther are working on a new studio album and just released some more tour dates for spring. It looks like the band will hit the southern U.S. in March. Tickets for these new shows are on sale today.

All these years later and it's still hard for me to accept that Jack Russell isn't the singer of Great White anymore. Mitch Malloy does a fine job, but seeing him front the band is still jarring to me.

Over the summer, Great White performed at the Kentucky State Fair. The band released a pro-shot video of their performance of "Lady Red Light" from that show. You can see it below. Talking about summer and looking at this clip... August feels so long ago. It isn't even Thanksgiving yet and there's already an ice storm outside my door. I fear it's going to be a long winter.

A Short Update From Joe Perry

Joe Perry posted a short update on his Facebook page. He says he's doing well now. This after collapsing in his dressing room on Saturday night. He was performing with Billy Joel, walked off stage and got ill. So it seems Joe is on the mend. I hope he continues to get well.

Whitesnake Announces Tour Dates, New Album

Whitesnake will release Flesh & Blood in May via Frontiers and the band will hit the road in support of that album. This album is part of the band's 40th anniversary celebration.

Joe Perry Recovering After Health Scare

Joe Perry collapsed backstage Saturday night. He was performing with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden. He apparently "looked awful" and was having breathing problems. EMS workers used a tracheal tube and oxygen on him. This terrifies me. I hope Joe gets better and slows down a little.

Iron Maiden Announces Tour Dates

The Iron Maiden tour announcement caused waves on social media the other day. Iron Maiden trended on Twitter for hours and when I first saw that I was worried the band broke up or worse. Turns out, Maiden will hit the road for a slew of dates next summer as part of the Legacy of the Beast tour. I've never seen Maiden live and it looks like I won't be seeing them next summer either. I already have plans for the night they are coming through Cincinnati. Are you going to this tour?
