Asking Alexandria Pay Tribute to Glam

A couple months ago, Asking Alexandria recorded a special EP for Revolver magazine called Under The Influence: A Tribute To The Legends Of Hard Rock. The band recorded covers of these songs:

“Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake
“Separate Ways” by Journey
“Hysteria” by Def Leppard
“Kickstart My Heart” by Mötley Crüe

I stumbled across the covers album thanks to Cred.fm yesterday. I was listening to Def Leppard and then an unfamiliar cover popped up... and here we are. I think it's pretty cool. Then again, Asking Alexandria is one of my favorite bands! I hope they do one of these songs live when I see them in concert this summer!

only band there I ever considered Glam was Motley Crue. I did like the Hysteria cover, never been a journey fan and the Whitesnake cover lacked a little. I do like Asking Alexandria though.

Don't really care for Asking Alexandria and don't even particularly care for their UNROCK band name.

Still, their covers of classic 80's Hair Metal are great, really give the originals a run for their money and are far cooler than any of AA's original material.

I saw Asking Alexandria live at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards a year ago, (or was it 2?) and they were absolutely the most boring band ever. Even having Sebastian Bach sing "Youth Gone Wild" with them was D-U-L-L. I really could not understand how they got signed.

It's obvious by the effects on the vocals that the guy doesn't have the voice to actually sing those songs. He's even worse than the kid from Black Veil Brides. Godawful band.
