The Wild Lies: New Glam from the UK

The Wild Lies are a new band from the UK. They have a great melodic sound, sort of like Reckless Love. The band's EP Jack's Out Of The Box is available now on iTunes. You absolutely have to hear this track: "Falling." A lot of this song reminds me of my beloved Def Leppard!

I concur Ace...nothing glam about this band. I think the term "glam" is used too loosely around here.

Though not overtly GLAM in appearance, the sound definitely has elements of the genre, thus Allyson's referencing Def Leppard. Now, I'm sure there can be some question as to Def Leppard's status -- Are they just 80's Hard Rock or are they GLAM?! But one thing can't be denied -- Def Leppard's self-acknowledgment of being heavily influenced by 70's GLAM ROCK as name checked in the song, "Rock It".

Ditto, The Wild Lies. Bottom Line: though not overtly GLAM, per se, they certainly do wear their GLAM influences on their sleeves.

Anyone not hearing that is in denial or, for some reason, just not LISTENING... Hmmm... maybe because YOU don't WANT to HEAR it!
