KISS, Def Leppard Press Conference Planned

KISS and Def Leppard will host a joint press conference March 17 in Los Angeles. The event will be streamed live on Live Nation's website.

All signs point to a big summer tour. Other bands are rumored to be on the bill as well, including either Poison or Night Ranger.

Sign me up for a set of tickets. This announcement will be big for my summer concert calendar. When the official announcement happens and dates are released, I'll post them up here.

This will be interesting & a great double bill. It also kind of sucks, because it means neither KISS or Def Leppard will be doing 90 minute full sets. It will end up as "co-headliners" each doing 60 minute sets. Which means, neither will stray from the obivious "hits", & the chance for hearing the slightly obscure, or rarely played tracks, is probably nil. STILL, You can count me in, I'm there for both bands. I'll be REALLY surprised if Poison ends up on the bill, as Brett seems too busy playing Petsmart shill & getting his wigs fluffed, to actually bother playing with his real band.

I have never seen KISS or Def Leppard, so this is great news to hear too. Already set to see Slayer, Alice, and The Crue, this is just icing on the cake. Perfect tour. Especially if Poison is there. I don't care if they have the same set list they are really fun.

Ace said it perfectly... This will be interesting & a great double bill. It also kind of sucks..... Sadly, with this announcement, I am not excited and not interested at all with either band. There are a few clubs between Buffalo & Albany that have my interest instead. This Spring & Summer looks very promising for bands around this Central NY area. However, this all depends on my health issues as they are acting up again. Peace, Roy \,,/ \,,/

Yes, Night Ranger is the opening act. Def Leppard will headline a tour next summer when they release their new album, so these dates are cool just to play and have fun this summer. They will likely play one new song, too. KISS will close every show - more of a production issue, really because they are bringing their "spider" stage with them.

Sounds like Poison is a no go. Bummer. May not be able to convince my wife to go this time, but at least we'll see Cooper and Crue in Kansas City.

Cool tour! Too bad Poison won't be on the bill.

This sounds pretty great if I can come up with the funds. There are many shows here in Detroit that I already am waiting for tickets to go on sale for.

As far as musicianship goes Night Ranger will far surpass both Def Leppard or KISS. I saw KISS on the reunion tour but you couldn't pay me to see them now. Hearing Paul croak his way through songs is not my idea of money well spent.

Yeah, except Night Rangers songs pretty much s*ck, Velonese. Proof, again, that no matter how great a musician you are, if your songs are sh*te, than so are you!
