Nikki Sixx Ties The Knot

Nikki Sixx married model Courtney Bingham yesterday. The couple got married in front of friends and family in a fancy spot in Los Angeles. Apparently the theme was gothic rock meets French countryside (whatever that means). People magazine has a write-up about the wedding if you're into those sorts of details.

Entertainment Tonight did some stories on Nikki and Courtney as they got prepared for their big day. I'll assume video of the wedding will be on T.V. (and thus YouTube) soon. Here's a link to one of the preview interviews.

Between these nuptials and The Final Tour, 2014 is shaping up to be a huge year for Mr. Sixx.

Saw that Nikki posted on Instagram that Vince attended "in great spirits" (free booze hahahaha) but that Mick and Tommy declined. Hmmmmmmmm.

Gary! Really? I CANNOT believe that Mick and Tommy did not attend. What rift exists between them that would cause that?

Or is it just that they got tired of going to this guy's weddings, knowing that he'll be divorced to this one, as well, soon.

p.s. Perhaps Ace can shed some light on this since he knows all the parties and the Rock & Roll hubbub in Tinseltown, having been on the scene with these guys since the beginning.

He's 55, she's 27..I give it 6 months.

I kinda thought what you said MB. That they figured they've been to how many of his weddings already, and deep down know that this'll probably last about a year or 2 until she's suing for half of his $$$..... Lol

Hey, Gary... Your free booze comment about Neil is at once humorous, more than likely accurate and in all reality, sad!

MB, These guys have been a business entity only, since the early 90's. Any band camaraderie they once had, disappeared after they fired Vince in 1990.

Nothing good can come from violating the "half your age plus 7" rule.

So Vince, who Nikki basically fired, can show up but Tommy & Mick don't? Very, very weak sauce. That says a lot about Vince, to me. Not as much about Tommy or Mick though!

I honestly could care less if they're best friends anymore. Because I really don't see the point in arguing about that kind of thing. The only thing that pisses me off is the hate that is being thrown at Mick Mars. Even if he didn't show up, there's no reason for giving him a bad time. I'm pretty sure they're all good with each other. But if not I don't care as long as it dosent effect the show. Long live the Crue.

Of course Vince showed up... It was open bar.

Mick didn't show up because of his bone disease!
Tommy didn't show up because he doesn't give a fuck!

Nikki & Vince have been able to let bygones be bygones (meaning they are acting like adults) last time Vince got married Nikki was the only Crue member who was there.

Nikki & Vince understand that life is 2 short.
Mick has 2 deal w/his illness (so he pretty much has no choice) & Tommy just hates anything that has 2 do w/glam metal.

If Motley Crue doesn't release any new music on CD.
Whether it be a EP or a compilation with a handful of new songs.
That need to be released on CD.
I love the song "Sex" but it means nothing to me because it was never officially released.
That song is just lost in space and pointless!
Unless the song is on a CD...It is fucking pointless!!!

I agree,

Songs released over the internet are a complete total waste of fucking time. The song "Sex" is completely worthless. That song has nothing to do with anything, it would have been cool on a normal CD but it fizzles out hardcore on some random computer song listing.

Real Motley Crue fans could never afford any of this high tech shit!

That makes total sense,

Nikki completely forgot where he came from...when he was a teenager struggling to make it, he would have never been able to afford any of this shit, he would have been so pissed if the music his favorite bands made wasn't readily available,to all of the fans.

He knows damn well that kids will never be able to pay for all of this high tech computer shit!

Motley Crue:
Unless they release a CD full of Unreleased songs, I don't give a flying fuck!

Rita! Once again, too funny, yet very prophetic!

At least that rule gives me hope I still might get married to a 34 year old, hahaha!!!
March 18, 2014 | Unregistered CommenterMetalboy!
Actually, I guess Nikki was applying the "Half Your Age MINUS 7 Rule"!!!

You are right Metalboy! And there is always hope!
