Steven Tyler's Skittles Commercial

Steven Tyler made some ad cash. He starred in a Skittles ad portraying himself as a portrait... sort of. The ad is set to "Dream On" and aired during the Super Bowl. This definitely wasn't one of my favorite ads of the night.

It may not have been the best Super Bowl ad, but his opening line, "Okay, let's do this. I've got minds to twist and values to warp" is pretty funny.

For me, the Snickers spot with Marilyn Monroe and Willem Dafoe and Honda with the sheep were the standouts, the latter for obvious reasons beholden to BBGer's everywhere.

I loved Tyler's spot! The huge assed lips on the "Skittle Steve" were worth the price of admission alone. Lol. The Honda Ridgeline ad with the sheep was hilarious and rockin' at the same time also. Throw in the Acura ad with VH in the background, and hard rock was well represented last night. The Dorito spots were also funny. Pretty good ads all around last night IMO

Allow me to amend that... the Doritos Ultrasound spot took the cake. And it was an idea from a entrant in their annual contest, to boot!

Puppy, Monkey, Baby....WTH? Someone was seriously tripping when they though of that one.

Yeah, Jeff... And the agency must have dropped acid in the clients' coffee mugs to get them to buy it, too!

True enough Gary and Metalboy!

But, at this point, I think Puppy Monkey Baby has a better shot at making a solid album than Aerosmith.
