Absolutely Amazing Classic Def Leppard Clip

Happy Friday! Today, enjoy an amazing 1980 performance of Def Leppard doing "Hello America." The clip is from a Dutch TV show. The band was so young here. I love it!

I've never seen it, either and it's been posted on YouTube since 2011! Doh!

It IS really cool... A great song and interesting to see 'em writing the book on Pop Metal way before all the damage was done (booze killing Clark then Elliot's voice plus Rick Allen's horrible car accident), here so young (Steve Clark looks 17!) with the early 80's purple pantaloons, mullets (Clark) and bad perms (Joe Elliot).

Compare this to the totally bada*s "Foolin'" video and you realize the transformation these lads undertook leading them to superstardom in such a short period of time.

Do you recall anything specific about Willis that night, spyke? Just curious, as he is one of those self-inflicted footnotes in the history of rock.
