Damn Dice, 'Home' - New Video

Happy Monday. It's a new year, but I'm still on holiday from 2016. Unfortunately this is my last "break" day and going back to work tomorrow will be a struggle. At least it will be a short week!

Damn Dice is a five-piece metal band from London. They are young and have great potential. I like them a lot! They just released a video for their new single "Home." It's from the album The Great Unknown. Check it out.

Thanks for posting this. I checked out the album on Spotify.
Now, for my $0.02 review:
The song in the above video is not really representative as them as a band. They have a lot of 80s hard rock panache in their music and this song is an outlier on the record, the rest of it really rocks. They could benefit from better production as it sounds like the drums were recorded in a microwave. I guess a lot of the music recorded today suffers from the same thing, and part of that is that it's recorded for digital. It all sounds way too compressed. All the boom and grit and dirt is washed out. But I digress.
Allyson used the right word with potential. They have potential, but it has yet to be realized. I'll keep an ear out for them if they have future releases. This album was done in 2015, so they should be due for a new one.
