This Is Absurd

Kansas just canceled their European tour... because of safety concerns. Again, we're not talking about Venezuela or Syria here. We're talking about... Europe. Kansas was set for a 22 date run across the pond. Maybe ticket sales sucked and this was the excuse? Bizarre.

That said, I'd hate to think the band used security concerns as a cover for cancelling a tour. And, if they are worried about travel, that's on them and their call to make.
The actual warning is as follows:

So I get your point, sorta', Allyson. Yes, Europe (the continent) isn't a failed state in South America or Asia. But that doesn't really factor into the decision-making if one is to take a government warning seriously.
I guess I sorta' feel like the old geezers in Kansas should be left alone on this one. Seems like a slow news day sorta' thing that other sites are picking up on (namely, those that rarely, if ever, would cover Kansas if not for this reason).
Now I wonder: will Europe tour Kansas this summer? Hmm . . . and another nod to oper8n stellar first and second posts.
