Whitesnake To Release 30th Anniversary Edition of '1987' - New Trailer

Whitesnake will release a special 30th anniversary package of their self-titled album, also known as 1987. The trailer for that special package is below. It will be called Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition and will be available October 6 via Rhino.
As a 4 CD/DVD combo, this package will feature a lot of music for the $50 asking price. There will also be music videos, previously unreleased concert footage, interviews and the like.
I just hopped over to Amazon and you can pre-order now on that site for $44. There is also an anniversary vinyl issue of the album only going for $27.

At least I managed to pull off the following:
Turns out way back in 2001 (geez, when did that wind up being a long time ago?), I lived in London for 2 months. Before I left, I made the rounds of all the top indy record stores where I bought a bunch of CDs, DVDs and VHS' (PAL format I still have yet to convert).
Coincidentally, the motherload of which is primarily Whitesnake, Deep Purple and SAXON stuff, as well as a handful of other NWOBHM items, such as a picture sleeve 45 of "Love Potion #9" by Tygers of Pantang, among others, plus some Punk stuff I never see over here.
Among the VHS material, I scored the entire Deep Purple (with Coverdale on lead vocals) and Black Sabbath sets from Cal Jam '74. The Deep Purple set is notable for Blackmore setting destroying his guitars and amps (causing a few to explode) and throwing them in the audience. audience. The show was originally broadcast on ABC, which I recall watching, and the video is that footage sans the commercials, thankfully.
One of the other videos is a complete "Slide It In" era Whitesnake concert. Another video I grabbed in London is a killer show of Oliver/Dawson Saxon. As you probably know, they are the other guitarist (not Paul Quinn) and the original bass player of Saxon, who went out on their own after the "Destiny" album failed to get traction in the states, despite possessing their KILLER cover of Christopher Cross' "Ride Like The Wind".
Back on topic, I also got an original British 1st press of "Slide It In" on CD!
Anywho, count me in for the 30th Edition of "1987"! Why?! Because of the description -- a DVD and CD, both featuring previously unreleased material, unlike Crüe's uninspired anniversary release of "Girls, Girls, Girls".
p.s. F.Y.I. I have both the original presses of "1987" and Vandenberg's solo album (great logo on the cover of the latter, not that both Whitesnake's logos aren't cool, either.) on both LP and CD. I also picked up an original British 1st press of the "Live in The Heart of The City" album when I was over there. And, look, I hear you, Bob, regarding the Pop Metal aspects of "1987", but if you adopt the point of view Jimmy Page is rumored to have upon hearing "Still of the Night", you can be metaphorically rolling on the floor laughing as he apparently literally did at the time. My favorite cut after "Still of the Night" is "Children of the Night", a complete "Hair Metal" formula throwaway -- but THAT's exactly what I love about it! Whatever we may think of that song, it just flat out rocks, so much so, I actually convinced my friend to work it up with his cover band and let me sing it with them in 1988!
Along the same lines, another overproduced gem many either overlook or dismisses, is one I also mentioned earlier, Saxon, "Destiny". Also, 1985's "Metal Heart" from Accept, is another overpolished (for the better!) example of excellent Metal! And that's just the stuff people have heard of!
