Loudness, 'Soul On Fire' -- New Video

Music videos are in their heyday once again. No longer used on MTV or Vh1, the clips are used as promotional tools for the digital space. About a decade ago I thought the music video was dead for good. I mean, why would any band spend money on something that no one would ever see? I'm so glad videos continued - they are a snapshot in time of some of our favorite acts.
A few weeks ago I told you Loudness was releasing a new album. That album is called Rise to Glory and it's available now. To go along with that album is the video for "Soul on Fire." It's on the melodic side of metal. Enjoy your Saturday!

I just wish they would bring back Headbanger’s Ball either to any of the MTVs or VH1s. Whatever beancounter got Viacom to pull it’s latest incarnation, Metalmania, should be shot!
The new Loudness album, “Rise to Glory” contains one of my new fave tracks of 2018, “Let’s All Rock” ... Be sure to check it out!
But, yes, it isn't the same as when they ran substantial blocks of Metal Mania (and 120 Minutes, for the alternatively-minded among us) on VH-1 Classic. I have to rely on Hair Nation on XM/Sirius and Pandora . . . both with no visuals! Or venture out to web-based video collections.
Damn you Viacom! Damn you!!!!
BTW, HIM! ... You were sorely missed on New Year’s when Allyson posted her Favorite Albums of 2017 and invited all to give their suggestions / list in Comments.
You may have already seen the Post and subsequent contributions in Comments but, if you are so inclined, it would be great to hear (literally) the new albums you were listening to last year.
You could list them, again, ONLY if you feel like it either here or under that New Year’s post. AND I would love to hear anyone else’s faves from 2017, if they didn’t already post feel like listing.
SOME people merely commented or seconded. Whazzup with that, Metalamoes ???!!!! Hahaha!!!
[In no particular order]
Carry Fire, Robert Plant
Rip It Up, Thunder
Revelation Highway, Babylon AD
Infinite, Deep Purple
Scatterbrain, KXM
Emperor of Sand, Mastodon
Ave, Venom, Inc.
Is This The Life We Really Want?, Roger Waters
Villains, Queens of the Stone Age
Greta Van Fleet, Black Smoke Rising
Overkill, The Grinding Wheel
Add Violence, NIN
I left out some tasty reissues and a couple of live releases. But that list will suffice and is suitably all over the place.
Thanks for asking! And belated HNY to everyone. I will try to post with more regularity than I did in months past.
A big “Der!” on me for not putting Babylon A.D. up...
But I will certainly explore the many others you have listed not at all familiar to me ... I will add my critiques of each, though I’m anticipate I will enjoy a great many because of your overall excellent taste and expertise in Metal and Hard Rock!
Have a Rockin’ 2018 !!!
And apologies for not keeping my "band, album name" listing style consistent.
Not sure all of these would be your cup of tea (I mean, Venom were a guilty pleasure and Venom, Inc., is a one off featuring two of the original guys). But a list is a list is a list.
