I saw them in Brooklyn last year and it was a great show. I've always said that the one band I really regret not seeing in concert back in the day was Queen. Now while this was not Queen with Freddie, it was still pretty amazing. Adam Lambert does an outstanding job as both a vocalist and a top-notch front man and yet doesn't try to "replace" Freddie. No one really can.

Eddie, there you are, my boy!

Yeah, I fluked out and saw Queen with Mercury in ‘82 when a buddy called me up out of the blue with an extra ticket in his Dad’s Sky Suite at Capital Centre (since demolished) in D.C. and, needless to say, it was one of THE MOST phenomenal things I’ve EVER witnessed.

My friend Lisa almost pressed the button to get Front Row at Madison Square Garden for the upcoming tour but came to her senses when she realized the band is now sadly compromised of only two original bandmembers, May and Taylor with Deacon out and showboat, Lambert, fronting, along with Taylor’s son (drummer of The Darkness) playing along side his dad (as an insurance policy, as Taylor is now 70) with a backup band to fortify the sound.

Scary stuff!
