Another KISS Rumor

KISS has apparently filed to trademark the phrase "End of the Road." Does this mean a real final tour is coming? We'll see.

. . . and not a mile too soon!

Pretty sure Gene will be 70 this year. I gotta think by then a fall from those heels would break a hip?

And we all know, Gary, that could lead to the one medical condition that Gene hates most: a bruised ego!

A final tour used to be a gimmick to sell tickets. Now it actually looks like all these bands are ending for good reasons. Although Ozzy, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Kiss, and many others went out for "the farewell tour" and came back in five years, it seems to be a trend again and it's more believable that they're ending whether they don't like each other anymore, wanna go out on top, or they're just getting old. I've caught Motley Crue and Black Sabbath on the final tours and I thought both went out respectively (although I woulda loved to hear some Motley deep cuts and to see Bill Ward with Sabbath). It's interesting now to see Slayer, Ozzy, and apparently now KISS going on their farewell tour. Whether KISS gets Ace back for this or any other members from the past I think they should stick to an actual farewell this time, have one last go around for the money and the fans and just leave it at that. I'll go see these farewell tours mostly because I haven't experienced a KISS show yet or an Ozzy solo show.

I know I joke around a whole lot on here, but Kiss is THE reason I first jumped on the rock bandwagon when I was 11 years old. They grabbed me by the boo boo and mesmerized me. This lead to Black Sabbath,AC/DC, Aerosmith, Zeppelin, etc all about a year later, thanks to my older cousin. Kiss was my first concert in 1976. I will go to this and love it,although it'll probably cost about $200 more per ticket for the same nosebleed seat, as I paid around $6.50 for the first one. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I can certainly understand your position, Gary. We stick by those bands that got us hooked. I hope the view from afar is worth the prices from on high!

Dj, you haven't seen a solo Ozzy show? Wow. By all means, get thee to a concert. There you will experience the thrills of his water throwing routine, marvel at his drummer's flailing arms, be reminded that he "loves you all" even while he "can't hear you," and take in the all black ensemble that now encases the Prince of Darkness. What you won't get are great vocal or many deep cuts (as you know, he can't sing many of them anymore and has said so as of late). But, hey, at least he is one of the Sabbath singers who isn't touring as a hologram. And that counts for something, right? I kid . . . sorta'. Enjoy!
