Metallica Announces North American Tour

As rumored, Metallica has announced a North American tour. It starts way later than I expected, running into winter 2019. At least the band is giving their fans a little heads up I guess. Tickets go on sale March 2 via LiveNation.

Looks like they’re not playing in my town, Orlando, this go around but they did last year and the show was absolutely KILLER!!! And that’s coming from someone who isn’t even really a fan!

I've never seen them but definitely will catch them since they're coming close. They're one of my favorite bands ever and I've heard from numerous people that they put on one of the best shows ever.

In other news: they just announced that the fish Lars slaps against his drums will be donated to a food truck after each show.

I kid. I bet it will be a great tour. I still feel lucky that I caught them at the "metal" Lollapalooza in '96 with Soundgarden and the Ramones.
