Hear Bulletboys 'Apocalypto'

I swear I read the title of the new Bulletboys track "Apocalypto" as Acapulco. Maybe I just need to get to the beach or something. Anyway, the song is taken from the new album From Out Of The Skies, due March 23. Definitely not bad. I've been looking forward to this album for months now.

Okay, thats not too bad. Much better than that load of crap song "D-Evil" . That one was painful. This one actually has a groove and is listenable. Looking forward to previewing the rest before I dive in and add this to my collection.

That’s funny Jeff. My thoughts are 180° from yours. I couldn’t get through 2 minutes of this song and thought D-Evil was decent.

Strokes for folks I suppose!

The question both of you are forgetting to ask: what does Mel Gibson think?

Sorry, this is not for me. The self titled and Freakshow were excellent records that I play til this day from time to time. Anything after that is borderline horrendous. ZaZa had maybe 2 songs that were not half bad but all downhill after that. I'll give it to Torien for moving forward and doing what he loves to do but I'll bet fans of the original lineup will not be into this. Ironically, speaking of the original line-up, I did a Google search on Mick Sweda just the other day and found that he had reunited with the other 3 of the original line-up. There had been talk of this for several years but nothing ever bore fruit so I gave up hope and while my back was turned they actually did it with a singer named Shane Tassart. I've heard the name but not familiar with his work. They put out a song titled Devil, video for the song and played some shows in California. The song is awesome and the live clips on YouTube sound great. This was just last year but I can't find anything else about them. Anybody heard them or know of their future plans?

Nevermind !! They've already lost the singer as of very late last year. The band's name was Lies, Deceit and Treachery. The full story of his departure is on MetalSludge. There was apparently a record in the works but then this played out so who knows about future plans. Hopefully the band will get another singer and put out that record, definitely has some serious potential judging from the only song they've released. Listen to it and tell me what you think. Cheers!
