'Shadow Of Your Love'

Guns n' Roses just put out a lyric video to promote their previously unreleased track "Shadow Of Your Love." You can watch that clip below.

The song is from Appetite for Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded. Previously I thought there was only one version of this box, but I was incorrect. The big version is a thousand bucks (which is complete insanity) and the Super Deluxe Edition is about $180, which is still a lot but not completely bonkers.

Clicking the image to the left will take you to the Amazon page for the Super Deluxe version, and you can see the full track listing there.

The package is officially out on June 29. It's currently sitting in the #8 sales position on Amazon across rock and #20 for overall music.

Another hit for Axl and Co!

Wow, it's no wonder that this song was left off of AFD. There is not much here. Disappointing after the hype.

Not bad. But certainly not up to the level of the rest of _AFD_. Damn, though, Axl had some unique (always an acquire taste) and awesome pipes back in the day!

So I get your point, Jeff. But I assume people who will actually buy this are the completists interested in the velvety fog of nostalgia. These packages are rarely worth the hype or the cost. If I had money to burn, I might buy it. But I barely have money to freeze. So I will stick with the slight and mighty original (and listen to these 'rarities' as they are released online).

So when will we get the 20 CD reissue of _Chinese Democracy_? They should package it in a KFC bucket.

Thought the lyrics were average to weak.

Thought the music KICKED ASS!

Maybe the boys did too. That’s why these things are left off the original. They’re not meant to be top notch

Yeah, it doesnt hold up at all to everything else off of AFD, but its still very cool to hear this outtake.

Music rocks - Verse is fine - its the chorus and song title repetitiveness that just don't fit. But it fits nicely in a 3 minute diddy. And when I say doesn't "fit", it really relates to the EPIC completeness and full album that is Appetite. It's a Guns song for sure.

Not bad, not bad. A definite Sunset Strip sleaze to it. Def old school GnR.

Yeah l, I listened to this a couple of times before this was posted.

Even though you can hear how it doesn’t quite fit on “Appetite” which is why they left it off but it’s still pretty awesome. Especially nice lead guitar work by Slash throughout.

Can’t wait to hear the rest, even if it only means just a couple more previously unreleased solos from Slash.

p.s. EddieLongHair! There you are, man! Thought we lost you there ... Look forward to more comments from you if ya got ‘em ... Cheers!

Hahaha!!! To whom are you referring, Eddie? Certainly not me, hahaha!!! Rock on, My Brother in Metal!

p.s. Do tell of any shows you may have seen or dirt you may have heard on any of our beloved heroes, haha!! Cheers!
