Janet Gardner Leaves Vixen

This is a little surprising: Janet Gardner is leaving Vixen. The singer announced her decision on Facebook. She had some medical issues last year so that could be the reason.
I wonder if we're reaching peak glam. By that I mean it is 2019. These musicians we love are not getting any younger. They've all basically done a big reunion or three by this point. The first Rocklahoma was in 2007 - well over a decade ago. I fully expect to see more retirement announcements in the next 18 months, either from individual musicians or full bands. You just can't live on the road forever.

I think you captured every Canadian band I ever listened to, and lots of others that I don't even know about. I might give some a listen at some point.
I would add Lee Aaron (the Metal Queen herself :), as well as Darby Mills and Headpins. I liked her a lot. She was a great front woman and presumably still is, although I haven't seen her live since the mid-80's I think. I mentioned them earlier and that's probably why you didn't list them. I think Headpins were just Chilliwack, but they did have a few memorable songs.
But you put together quite a list. Thanks for taking the time.
And, yes, Darby Mills has quite the chops on her! I should have listed her, too!
Did you listen to Diemonds yet?
One of my Top 11 of 2018! You should go see ‘em when they come around. They are KILLER!
