I Knew This Would Escalate

A week ago I posted about a comment made by Steel Panther's singer making fun of Vince Neil. I knew it was going to become an Internet thing. I was right.

I know everyone will take Starr’s side on this, & I know this is all a sad attention ploy, but for Starr to criticize Motley or any of their members like he has been doing, with his shitty band and the way they do things, and their achievements to the genre, compared to Motley, the only thing you’re all doing is making yourself look like an idiot that knows nothing & understands even less. That’s how I’m starting this post and that’s the bottom line. There wouldn’t be a bringbackglam website if not for bands like Mötley fucking Crüe, and that’s the damn truth, regardless of how much hate is thrown their way daily. You all know my disdain for Nikki these days, but I’m totally backing the Crüe in this one and until Starr becomes a pimple on Vince’s fat ass, he should absolutely keep their name out of his gd mouth. Now get back out there to your weakass comedy stylings, & your attack on the genre that I love so dearly, cuz that’s the exact reason you’ll never ever again be accepted as a real professional musician! Mötley forever🤘🏼

I think Steel Panther is in the wrong here. They are a damn parody band for goodness sakes! I can't believe all the people rushing to take their side in this. I'm not surprised the comments annoyed Nikki. I mean, coming from Steel Panther it just seems insane to me. - Allyson

Any chance this "feud" is fake and just designed to generate buzz before a major announcement, like, say, Steel Panther opening for a soon-to-be-announced Mötley Crüe reunion tour?

Imagine that in our butt hurt age we live in.

What was those fine things motley said about Vince when the band broke up ?
October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterGNR
Yeah big difference, the ppl saying those things were actually in the band, and had just as much to do with making their name, as Vince did. Otoh, what has Starr done? But of course i know theres a lot of Vince haters out there. Making jokes behind closed doors is one thing but coming out and taking public shots, when youve really never accomplished anything, is a huge joke to me. Butt Hurt? Theres no butt hurt, its merely ppl responding to what this irrelevant idiot said! Sorry that some ppl can dish it out but not take it back. Say dumb shit, catch crap. Its always been like that and always will! Btw, id love to see all the ppl's pics around here, that wanna keep raggin on his weight. Guaranteed theyre all fat ass losers that wouldnt be caught dead out in public, with their shirt off. Lmao

Maybe not all of them are, but most! Lol

This isn't about hating on Vince - I love me some Crue. Always have, always will. I think its more about pretentious Nikki. That's who has a butt hurt. Motley has been a fodder of many jokes, many accusations, many of almost of everything serious and not. But somehow someone joking about bring the "real" Vince Neil back from the dead is supposed to be taken as a slight ?? From Steel Panther ?? And if you are saying Steel Panther hasn't "accomplished" anything, you obviously aren't paying attention to what they've accomplished in the entertainment industry.

Who cares who's fat and who's not ? Father time gets us all. This was a statement made by someone that many of us want... Vince back the way he was. It's the same for everyone when father time gets you. But poor Nikki can't ever have someone he thinks lesser having something to say... Hey Nikki... Gene Simmons is on line one.

Its a funny f*cking joke plain and simple. Laugh a little, it will help you deal with life.

Hear, hear, GNR!

This may be the only joke Starr has ever said that’s actually funny in the truest sense of comedy!

Why? Because there’s a ring of truth to it. BTW, he didn’t say anything about the guy being fat though, in all seriousness, we all know Neil is playing with fire when it comes to being excessively overweight, especially at his age.

The other issue is Neil now unintelligible live vocal performances worse than how Bob Dylan sings live these days.

Just watch that YouTube video of Neil where his vocals have been isolated. Despicable!

"Who cares who's fat and who's not ? Father time gets us all"

Speak for yourself, yo. And yes, ragging on someone's weight when you're fat af, is weak sauce, plain & simple. Sorry if that hurts any feelings. Hell, Michael Starr isnt even the most well known Starr... that'd be Patrick by far!

Compared to Motley, Steel Panther aint done shit. Check the stats!

Also, no, that joke wasnt funny. It was about as funny as their band's lyrics are, which im sure most elementary kids laugh hysterically over them, but not for most ppl over the age of 13. I love a good joke and say silly shit on here all the time, but laughing over these comments he made, is about as funny to me, as laughing at someone being called a "poopyhead". Frankly i think this band is a joke and not worth a shit, so you're damn right, ill call them out any chance i get. But carry on with the fiction, by all means. For anyone to even put these 2 "bands" in the same stratosphere, tells me all i need to know about their knowledge of the genre. Just my opinions!

Steel Panther should invite Michael Monroe to open their next tour. STFU Nikki and bk.

Stick to your steroids and gym membership, bk. I haven't even Vaped, yet. In this State, it's legal and medicinal.
October 21, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterfletch
I dont need legality to blow trees, bro. Steroids lol, gym membership lol, not quite! Ive got my own weights at home and have been working out since age 12, i don't need steroids.

Anyone notice Sixx has had some major work done?

His eyes are clipped a la Warren Beatty and, worse, the now virtually unrecognizable Kenny Rogers, the latter coming out regretting ever having gone under the knife.

Also, I believe he’s now, and has been for quite some time, wearing a wig-like object similar to how Breck Michaels dons his, the telltale bandana on the forehead so we can’t see where his head and scalp meet at the forehead plus it’s stiffness on the ends and no visible part in top.

If you’ll recall, Neil also destroyed his face with a severe nose job on that MTV show featuring him someone mentioned earlier. Now if he could just lose enough weight to get liposuction and/or a belt implanted, he might just save his own life.

BK:

Didn't compare the bands Motley and Steel Panther at all, so I'm unsure where that even comes from. I did laugh at the "check the stats" comment. What stats am I checking ? The 200 people at the local county fair that came out to see VInce Neil or the 1,000 that were in the club the last time I saw Steel Panther ?

"knowledge of the genre" ? Is this a trivia contest ?

I do enjoy a good poopyhead joke from time to time...
October 22, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterGNR
Check the total record sale stats, bruh. 🙄
October 23, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterBkallday
Oh, so total record sales = smartness and hierarchy of who can talk/joke about whom. Got it chief !!!

Waiting for Garth Brooks to chime in about a Motley Crue joke... you know to keep your reasoning in line of what is ok. And to not speak out of order based upon look at stats.

And just in case you missed Nikki and Mick saying this:

"My heart goes out to you, [Vince]," guitarist Mick Mars said with a laugh. "What happened to the coral reef, though?" "Hey, when 300 pounds of blubber land on the coral reef, you know there was some dust flying around," Sixx added.

And here's the link:

Just in case you know you hold the same regard for all people and fat jokes.
