'To Watch The Lions And Pretend To Care'

This is pretty good: Steel Panther and Rob Riggle collaborated on a Thanksgiving song. This was aired during CBS Football coverage yesterday. I laughed pretty hard at this. Still isn't is as good as the video from year's past featuring Ken Jeong and Rob for the NFL on FOX. My husband and I still quote lines from that song regularly. That clip is the second. The Thanksgiving Steel Panther tune is the first video below.

What can I say? I'm a long-suffering Bengals fan. Anything that pokes fun at literally any other team I laugh. My fantasy team sucks this year too. I was plugging along, win after win and then all of a sudden it just went to pot. Such is life. Any given Sunday and all that.

Not really their best work, but any way some 80's rock can get on National TV is OK with me.

For some reason, this makes me think of Dee Snider's comments regarding the Super Bowl halftime show ... he continues to make the correct argument that all the NFL plays before and during games is hard rock music ... but they never have a hard rock act headline the halftime show. Consider that neither Metallica nor GNR have played the superbowl halftime show, and that's just a sin when acts like Maroon 5 and this year JLO and Shakira will have.
