I Hope Not

Looks like Stryper is angling to be on the Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison ticket. I hope Stryper is not the fourth band. They have lots of fans and people love them but I saw them live once and it just was not exciting. Maybe I was too tired when I saw them but I just do not see them on this bill. What do you think?

Wasn't Amy Grant available? 😜

Nothing against Stryper, but I doubt it. Some hints that allegedly " in the know" folks have given are "they wrote with DC, but they're not Snakes" ... and "they fit the genre, but are not really 80's glam rock" .... the other hint is apparently the 4th band will not be on every date of the tour.

I don't know ... I've guessed AC/DC ... Aerosmith ... Bon Jovi ... GNR ... and even Van Halen. My favorite now is the Scorpions. I know they've toured with Crue and DL, but not sure with Poison. And my guess is the tour will be a mix of stadiums (with Scorpions or another 4th band) and amphitheaters, maybe without. I think adding the Scorpions makes this a stadium bill. I have since the beginning thought this needed another band.

We're supposed to get the official tour announcement this week with dates and venues ... so we can finally stop the speculation and figure out where to go see this show, and how expensive prices are going to be .....

Finally, oh how I wish Rammstein would be bringing their incredible stadium tour to the USA ... but they're fully booked for a summer run through Europe again in 2020. Rammstein with the Crue would have been such an awesome bill.

I just heard it will be W.A.S.P.

Good call, Steve! Scorpions is the logical and most realistic choice. Always a crowd pleaser, they kill it like no one else!

WASP?! That is some comedy, Badland! Though I would love for it to be WASP, I just don’t see that happening as Lawless struggles to perform live these days.

Think about it, what do all of these bands have in common? As someone pointed out earlier, they all have their original or Mark II line-ups. WASP’s only original member is Lawless.

Whoever they get will have to fit that mold.

Assuming if they add a 4th band it will be an opener.

How about Tesla? They have a connection with Def Leppard (although I wish they hadn't tried to sound like them on this last album) and are great every time I've seen them live.

three’s enough. four bands ... just too long of a show considering it’ll probably be a summer tour and outdoors here in dallas - just an awful idea.

LA Guns or nothing. But I kind of agree with Stu as Mr. Chow would say:

Adding a 4th band just takes away from all the rarities, odd cuts, blow the dust off tunes that all these bands were going to play.... who am I kidding, the set lists will be the same "hits"

It's Joan Jett, according to my source, but don't count your chickens. WASP has already announced a world tour for 2020 and it's all overseas.

Hey, if the 4th band IS Tesla, that works out great because you can take a quick power nap during their show so you can already be in your seats when THE REAL entertainment hits the stage after them!
