I'm Going To See Kings of Chaos!

The Kings of Chaos are coming to Fraze Pavilion which is a small outdoor venue near my house this summer. I stumbled upon this concert announcement by accident because I was on Sebastian Bach's Facebook page and I saw the show linked. Tickets go on sale tomorrow and I am pretty pumped! If you are in southern Ohio, you might be interested to know that up close seats are $75.

Very cool! I’d be excited to see Warren.

This “thing” confuses me. I saw them when chester sang and Sorum was on drums. Great show. Back then I thought this was a “band”. I thought Gilby and Sorum were principal members. It’s just Gilby? So Kings of Chaos is basically “stars” that need money (touring) because their revenue stream from albums has go away? So band chemistry, tightness and relevance is out the door?

There are so many freaking shows now. The economy is rocking. People are spending money. Artists are taking it. I am not participating. I’d rather see the Dio hologram with a BAND playing their music. Never thought I’d say that.

We vote with our dollars. Always been that way

Weird times for music indeed.

Thats basically it, KC. Artists are literally throwing everything at the wall, to see what sticks and what doesnt. Maybe if artists would stop spreading themselves out so thinly, start building chemisty with one band, keeping those band members together, and focusing on one band, instead of everything under the sun, the material they put out would be better, therefore they could tour more, sell more merch, and put more asses in seats. Yes, i know the music industry has changed but this gar-bage is not the answer. When you're struggling, getting involved in a bunch of different shit is never gonna be the answer, focusing on one thing and making that the absolute best you can, is the answer! Yet here we are. Smh

I understand the comments, but there are some guys on here I've never seen or only seen once, so this seems like a great show to go see. Plus it's the only band Warren deMartini is in right now and he alone is worth the price of admission in my opinion. Also stoked to see James Lomenzo, former White Lion bass player who was on a season of the Amazing Race! To me, it's worth the drive from Louisville to see this show!

i second steverox, while i’d rather see these guys form an actual band and tour and record, we all know those albums don’t sell, so what’s the point - they’d just play their old band’s songs anyway. this at least gets these guys off the couch and on a stage.
koc was formed to be a revolving door band - old friends having fun playing together. and the version i saw a few years ago was just that, fun.

I think this band was started with the intention of having a revolving door of musicians, which is pretty cool. It's a glorified cover band pulling in big names to sell tickets. The footage I've seen of it is really cool, and if I'm not mistaken they do a lot of charitable stuff. Have fun at the show!
