Kings of Chaos Tonight!

Tonight Eric and I will see Kings of Chaos at a little venue pretty close to our house. It's Friday, we're supposed to have sun for a change (it has rained every day for the past two weeks) and I took a vacation day. I'm pretty pumped. Third row here we come!

I was at a 3 day corporate event last week with my wife and her company in Ojai, CA. The whole event was great but the thing that capped it all off was a surprise concert the last night by the Kings of Chaos! Totally unexpected! My wife and I stood at the edge of the stage (which was only about a foot off the ground) for the whole show which was about an hour long. Imagine that -- a private show for about 120 people!!! Also got a meet and greet afterwards!

This is HUGE! Think about it! It’s almost Guns N’ Roses Mark II (or is that “III”, if ya count the pre-Slash, Tracii Guns / Axl Rose version?).

Ya got stalwart lifelong and current bass player, Duff McKagan, Gilby Clarke, Matt Sorum, G’n’R unofficially endorsed lead singer (only singer to be asked to join the current line-up on stage to sing with Axl) and hired gun, Steve Stevens, who may actually be a better guitarist than Slash (though, granted, he is playing Slash’s original material).

Funny, though ... Why is everybody, with the exception of Sebastian Bach, wearing sunglasses? Hmmmm ...
