Crashdïet Release 'In The Maze' Lyric Video

Crashdïet will release Rust on September 13. The band just released a lyric video for the song "In The Maze" which is featured on Rust. Crashdïet keeps plugging along - they've had their share of tragedy and lead singers. Rust will be the first album to feature Gabriel Keyes as lead singer. He's been with the band for more than two years at this point. The band recruited Keyes through Facebook.

Hmmm ... How the mighty have fallen ...

Not that long ago, Crashdïet was the hottest new band on the Glam Metal scene and signed to a lucrative contract with Universal.

Granted, they have had their share of tragedies and personnel changes. But they’ve usually bounced back from such troubles better sounding than before.

But not this time. And as many have remarked here before about the Frontiers music label’s production f*cking up a band’s music, so it seems is the way it has gone for Crash Dïet.

As if the sappy power ballad and it’s cheesy lyrics aren’t bad enough, so is this video, from the poseur new singer to the ugly typography, gone is the edgy hyper-Glam it looks like they traded away for what could pass as current Modern Rock AOR.

Let’s hope the rest of the album kicks a*s and this track is just an aberration!

Cool song, not quite as raw as the old stuff. Id still love to see them live!
