Alice Cooper Does A Bob Seger Cover

Never better! Alice Cooper is back with a cover of Bob Seger's “East Side Story.” The song is on Alice's upcoming album Breadcrumbs, due out this Friday. Are you a first day buyer? I'll be a first day streamer, I know that. I can add albums "free" with my Amazon music subscription. This one is getting a click!

This tunes chugs and has a sick groove a la 1975 Alice. Reminds me of Gloria from Van Morrison. I don’t know the original of this tune from Bob. Alice is an inspiration. Rock on

Alice is timeless. Was just listening to Welcome to my Nightmare last night, and Dirty Diamonds just last week. Still great live & going strong!

This is so cool! Apple Music has it as well, so I shall be cranking this tomorrow. "East Side Story" is a really old Seger tune. As far as I know, it was only released as a single at the time because because Seger wasn't making albums yet. the bob Seger System wasn't even a thing yet, let alone the silver Bullet Band. Proving once again that Alice is not only awesome, but also a music aficionado.

I listened to this a couple of times since it first streamed on Apple Music the other night and it certainly is a welcome and fresh change from the slick Arena Rock sound he’s been rolling with since 1989’s “Trash”.

Even though this is just a side project from his bread and butter, it is SO cool he made this homage to Detroit Rock & Roll with all these cool Detroit Rock & Rollers playing right along with him!
