Tommy Lee Announces New Solo Album

Not many details yet, but Tommy Lee announced a new solo album via Twitter last night. I have no idea what type of music he's made, but I'll assume it's techno. It is rumored to feature other artists as guests. Time will tell I suppose.

Lol, techno??? No, none of his solo material would or could ever be classified as techno. This will be another Methods of Mayhem(rap/rock) release, their third. I’ve loved all of his solo stuff. But I’m not a rap hater and I don’t have any issues with white guys attempting to rap. Just like I have no issues with black guys trying to play metal. This is head and shoulders above any wack ass country cd that Steven Tyler will or has ever made! Lmao

Lee says it’s two sides, two genres, which is a unique approach and he did, after all, write the intro / outro piano riff on “Home Sweet Home”, so maybe there’s hope for him yet.

I’ll keep my mind AND ears open upon first listen but if it winds up being as crappy as his previous stuff, they won’t remain open for long!

I like to give everything a chance so we'll see what Tommy is up to genre wise with this new project. I thought both Methods Of Mayhem albums were complete garbage, but he does have a couple good tunes on that solo album that he did.
