Hear 'High Hopes (Early Version)' From Pink Floyd

I have a lot of affinity for "High Hopes" because I love The Division Bell album. I listened to that CD constantly when I was working on homework in my room. I will say this earlier version of "High Hopes" is nowhere near as smooth as the final product. But it's still interesting to hear and definitely a piece of Floyd history.
'High Hopes (Early Version)' a previously unreleased track, taken from the forthcoming 'The Later Years' boxset is now available to stream. Here's the final, album version of "High Hopes." Compare the guitar solos at the end. Listening to the early version again, I have to say there's a lot to like about those initial workings. The initial version seems warmer and definitely longer. Maybe there are more harmonics? The most famous part of "High Hopes" is the slide solo in the final product of course.
