KISS 2020 Goodbye

One thing I think most will agree on is that 2020 has been an absolutely soul-crushing year. It is no wonder, then, that KISS will host a big live stream concert event on New Year's Eve called "KISS 2020 Goodbye." The event will take place at Atlantis, Dubai.

The pay-per-view tickets cost $40. Yes, there are more expensive VIP packages available. This seems like a great way to spend New Year's Eve. It is not like other concerts, ball drops or community events will be happening.

Awesome idea by Kiss and Co.

2020 is a bit messy. Find the pearls people. Don’t t feed into all of the common narratives. Feed into your own. And I sincerely hope your own are good. Peace

Have you had More time with family members you may love? Maybe you and immediate family have not contracted the virus or had significant health setbacks. Still have a job in this mess? Kudos.

I think we should be talking about Midnite Dynamite Re-Lit by Kix, not another money grab by KISS.

Personally, I think there is room in this dust cloud we call our current situation for both Kix and KISS.

For fans, it is never a money grab. For Purnell, it is! See what I did there? All a matter of perspective. And perspective counts these days. As Kixchix said (or implied), count your blessings if you are doing well. I would add, pay it forward too.

Now for some good-hearted fun at KISS's expense . . .

The VIP tickets for the KISS show include Paul Stanley's backing tracks answering questions from fans. Gene's hair will autograph only one item per person. Eric Singer will be there signing his recently released book, _Seventh Star: Yeah, I Played On That!_. Tommy Thayer will be handing out copies of his honorary degree from Pacific University, where he serves as a trustee. And Dubai, as the host for this magnificent event, is going to temporarily allow photography, drinking, cussing, sex outside of marriage, and give Yemen a break. So it should be pretty awesome.

Me? Personally? I decided to take the plunge and pay $1,000,000 for drum lessons from John Lithgow. Can't wait to share my results on some torrent site!
