Download Festival Canceled

This is a huge one. The Download Festival, held each year in the UK, is now canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival was going to happen June 12-14 at Castle Donnington. Iron Maiden and System of a Down were set to headline. You can get a refund or keep your ticket for next year.

M3 festival official statement 3/26:

M3 2020 - Update

We're going to make a final decision and announcement on the festival on or before April 1. The festival will not be cancelled this year and will be on the original date or postponed to a later date in the summer.

Due to Covid 19 virus, the Sheraton is closed and will likely stay closed for construction. Please see a list of other hotels at the Rock Festival website.

According to posts to this update, the Hampton Inn has also closed and has sent out emails to guests that they should find another hotel if M3 occurs.
