Farewell Bill Withers

This sucks. The great songwriter and performer Bill Withers has died from heart complications at 81.
This news feels extra heavy today.

RIP Mr. Withers.
We have lost some great musicians over the past few weeks: Kenny Rogers, Adam Schlesinger, Joe Diffie, Ellis Marsalis. Thankfully, we still have their music.
Be well, everyone. I hope you make the most of the weekend, even in these trying times.
We also lost Alan Merrill, who wrote and performed with his band, The Arrows, the original “I Love Rock and Roll”, the cover of which by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts shot to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at the top of that chart for seven weeks!
