'Renegades' -- New L.A. Guns Track

Steve Riley's version of L.A. Guns has a new song out today. It is called "Renegades" from the upcoming album of the same name.

The song is fine but it is just not L.A. Guns to me. I still think it would have been better for Riley and Kelly Nickles to pick a new band name and go forward, but I suppose it would have been too hard to get bookings. Listen below:

The Cure called they are contacting their lawyers for borrowing their sound as well a bunch of 90's bands. This is something I wouldn't put my name on and that says a lot LOL

Haha!! ... Gonna go against the grain here and push back on these comments A LITTLE deploying this adage ...

“I don’t have to like it to know whether its good or not.”

In this case, potentially good ...

“Renegades” has a great straight ahead pure punkish groove and some decent solos ...

But that’s where what’s good about it pretty much ends for me ..

This singer is all monotone, mediocre and flat and the lyrics so slap-dash, the song is less satisfying than a “Happy Meal”.

Nice song and album title and great graphics though, the latter courtesy of Nickels ...
