'For Whom The Bell Tolls' - Metallica and San Francisco Symphony

Metallica will release S&M2 on Friday. In advance of that release, the band has dropped another video from the package. This time it is "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and it is majestic. I watched in awe the first time I pressed play on this new clip. I cannot wait to get this package and watch the entire remastered film this weekend!
Pre-order 'S&M2 (Deluxe Box)(4LP)(2CD)(1 Blu-ray)' and support BBG!

The song stands on it's own just for the Blick'em Blick'em Boom part of the drums.
Impressive is this song live when you are sweating and out of breath in the pit watching your buddy air drum. Impressive is when an orchestra just breaks into a song like this and it's like elevator music on crack without James there to sing it for them.
These guys retread more than your local Firestone dealer!
Why not make a new album with Bob Rock and create a “making of” rockumentary out of it ...
Oh, wait! ... They already did that with “Some Kind of Monster”!
Seriously, though, If they put out a new album that was TOTALLY fresh and different, really breakthrough AND did an even cooler documentary than “Monster” (without all the confrontation) showing how they worked remotely from home, call it “Remote” or something, they would be releasing music and video that might possibly be considered relatable and relevant ...
It could potentially be a document that would actually help us cope with the new “stay at home” paradigm besieging us.
For someone who always promoted honesty, accountability, and confrontation, you failed miserably. A simple, "Listen fletch, I'm not you sounding board. Back off", would have worked.
What originally made this song so slamming was that it was, well, just them making a beautiful noise. This sounds like Testament was run over by someone making the theme song for a James Bond film, albeit without the shrieking vocals. Glad James is back in good health though.
Sometimes you can't improve on your own legacy by asking people to pay a ****-ton of money to sit in the tomb that is the Chase Center. Especially after you already asked them to listen you years ago doing your "Hooked on Classics" thing. One starts to wonder what it means to be creative and free to do what you want when this is what you want to do.
What's the point?
