Louder Than Life Lineup Looks Good

I have to say, two nights of Metallica, Escape The Fate, Judas Priest, Sevendust, South of Eden, Snoop Dog and Asking Alexandria sound pretty good to me. The Louder Then Life lineup is stacked! The festival takes place September 23-26 in Louisville, Kentucky. A 4-day general admission pass is $250. VIP tickets are available (of course).

The rest .... it's just not my taste for this "80's rocker" ... there are literally only 2 acts on this bill I'd want to see and that's Metallica and Judas Priest. I mean, Snoop Dogg??? I guess they need to cater to a certain audience, given they had Ice Cube 3 years ago.
By the way, where in Europe are you and why? You might have mentioned this previously. If so, my apologies. Just curious.
Gary, just an idea: next time, LoJack the thread. That way, you will always be able to find it!
Hoping to return to the US next year but for now it’s OK other than the vaccinations are going so damn slow! Hopefully we will still get some good shows as well though all big summer festivals are canceled. Next year summer looks great with both Maiden and Rammstein playing less than 15 minutes from my house! But I will visit for the Stadium tour ... any possible last chance to see Crue and Poison I have to go.
I hope the vax thing speeds up, Steverox. And I hope you enjoy your time at home as things get back to normal. Like you, I am looking forward to great concerts in my not-too-distant future. Cheers!
Fingers crossed on the vaccinations ... looking like it may be in June for me. Seeing all those fall concerts that were listed in a different post makes me want to come visit asap. An Alice Cooper headline show would be sweet!
Even if you never reply, I have to ask: have you been to Kop Van Jut in Amsterdam? I love this place. And I made what I thought was a mistake when I asked a friend who lives there, grew up there, to meet me for dinner at the place. He gave the neighborhood the stink-eye (granted, it is in the midst of a gross cross-section of international restaurants catering to, again, tourists). But I had been there several times. I loved the Dutch steaks. The atmosphere. The staff. After dinner he pulled me aside and said (as we were with other people): "I was ready to hate this place. But it was good. Some of the food reminded me of my childhood. Some of the food didn't. But it was all great. Appreciate it." And we have, at least for the first meal, always gone to that place ever since when I visit.
