'Hellbound' -- Buckcherry, New Video

Buckcherry has a new video for their song "Hellbound." The song is on the band's upcoming album of the same name, due at the end of next month. I like this song much better than other tracks from the album and this gives me hope for some solid rock n' roll. What do you think?

I have said before that I think Todd is an incredible front man live. And now that it is basically his band (well, it sorta' was even before original members started fleeing), perhaps this is a sign that they can do something approximating their early-career highs (no pun intended).

And this song gets at what makes Buckcherry good: AC/DC on spastic acid. Full stop. Don't try to reinvent a wheel you didn't invent. Stick in your lane. Aim for the middle by setting your sights on what got you where you were/are/will be. That might sound like I am slagging on them. I am not. But delusions of grandeur have wrecked bands far more talented and far more popular.

Mr. Todd, Buckcherry can still be a mid-tier second stage band at a festival or part of a solid line-up at a club. The sun is shining. Things are looking up. Release more songs like this and you have a place in the party. And, at this point, that is really only your decision to make.
