Tyketto Post Album Update

Tyketto has recently posted a few updates online about their new album and it seems like everything is now recorded! Apparently, the new album is due sometime this year and the band only announced it just weeks ago. Will be interesting to hear once it is complete.

To be honest, I’ve always been a bit lukewarm about these guys, though I did have all their CDs back in the day.

On the other hand, absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Chez Kane, particularly her fairly recent retro 80’s tunes such as the superb Danny Rexon (of Allyson faves, Crazy Lixx fame) penned title track from her 2022 album, “Powerzone”!

Hate to say it but her pipes blow Lzzy Hale (and everyone else, for that matter) out of the water!

Mb: I'm running for a local office. The Democratic debate for candidates is next week before the Primary. I've been practicing the skills you taught me so long ago. I'm a bit rusty and nervous, but I think I can hold my own.

If you want to see me in action, email me. I'll give you date, time and location. Your feedback afterwards would be welcome.

Update: it'd happening.

Are you the one who told me about Ds M&M demand in his contract that the temperature has to be a certain degree before he performs?

Fletch, how are you doing? I mean, really? How . . . are . . . you . . . doing?

Very well, thank you. Democrat forum was last night. I think I rocked it.

BTW, I noticed your nod to the Old Testament in a post above using the term lucre. But, isn't writing "filthy lucre" redundant?

Packing for M3 right now. I've been practicing my high kicks and baton twirling. I've always given away my VIP perks to people on the lawn. I no longer have a need to meet any "rock star" and get a photo-op with him/her. Been there, done that, but this year, I'm hoping that that MF agrees to to do it. I've never met him and want to tell him how much his music has meant to me over the years. Otherwise, if he doesn't, I'm jumping on stage during his show and hugging him, before I steal his baton as a souvenirs and get thrown out. My buddy has strict instructions to get a pic and video of me and The Legend. On second thought..

After, two strokes, recent leg surgery and recovering from three broken ribs from a fall (stoke vertigo), I don't think I'll "JUMP" on stage...I may have to hobble up, use my Albuteral Inhaler once I get up there and then limp over to Dave before he cracks me over the head with his baton to keep me away.

Have a good weekend, Him. I know I will.

Keeping in mind my more recent post (again, I post in the order that they are posted; so, I am often then circling back to my previous posts), I do hope you have a good time at M3. Sounds like you need it after all the adversity you have faced, Fletch.

But I will again ask: what is your point in posting the rando stuff? Just to post? I mean, if so, I guess I get it. It just seems (sometimes) like you are getting a touch too focused on phantoms of your own making. And, trust me, I get it. We are all capable of being Don Quixote or Sancho Panza, depending on our mood(s). But, sometimes, you really do seem to tilt--I mean, tilt!--at windmills of your own creation.

And the lucre comment (since I won't post again about 'that' organization until next year) was, as Metalboy! correctly intuited, about the Sex Pistols (the real-fake version, and their gifted singer/lyricist, not the fake-fake version that is now out and about and doing what they can to take in some more lucre). And, just being precise here, the term itself is a (likely late) Middle English term of origin (borrowing from both Latin and French). So, any reference to the Bible is, in fact, a reference after the fact. But, then again, so are many parts of the Bible (and I don't mean that as a slag on religion either). That's just the way faith texts work.

Cheers!
