Remembering Robbin Crosby

Today would have been Robbin Crosby's birthday. The RATT guitarist was born on August 4, 1959. Robbin died in 2002. RATT was never the same without Robbin and he was a big reason the band took off so much. He had a larger-than-life stage presence and complimented Warren DeMartini's guitar playing so well. Celebrating 33 Years of 'Hysteria'

All this week, Def Leppard will celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Hysteria. Today there was a listening party and online chat with Phil Collen. I was watching a Pink Floyd documentary on AXS TV last night and noticed a promo for a special event that looks really cool. Ellefson Covers Def Leppard

Ellefson, the solo project from Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, will soon release the album called No Cover. On it, Ellefson and friends cover some of the bands we love most. One of those bands is Def Leppard and now there is audio of the cover of "Wasted" and it is pretty good. Actually, this is a great rock record.

No Cover comes out October 2.
