Check Out Tom Keifer's New Video

Tom Keifer released a video for the song "Solid Ground." The song is from Tom's solo debut, due out April 30. The track is super strong. If you agree, you can buy it now on iTunes.

not wierd at all. the show was circa 2008, when this message board was in full swing of discussing cinderella, NB, their entourage, family members, etc... This was also about the time (year) when metalboy arrived to this scene and began to personally attck me. I mentioned several times that I would be attending the show and probably added that I would be wearing a david lee roth shirt.

Eric, (non)-coincidentally? was wearing a "bad boy" {motorcycle] sleeveless shirt. He actually walked by my table along the waall of the dance floor several times (during live wire's set) and during intermission. Each time, I tried to get his attention and more than a few times we locked eyes as I did so, but he would divert his eyes, turn his head and pretend not to see me. One time I even got off of my ass as he was walking toward my direction when he then did a 180 degree about face. Paranoid/ not at all. MB's influence? perhaps.

Sooooo....I waited and waited, awkawardly sat through their set and when they were done performing and then they snuggled into a booth out by the main bar, I decided to approach one last time. Yes, I can be persistent- much to my own annoyance (ya think?), and the aforementioned scene played out. Perhaps, he was upset over the low turnout, but perhaps he didn't want to give "fletch" the time of day, either, and decided to grandstand. After all, he "was" the rockstar in this club.

Again, it wasn't a one time blow off and/or something that could've misinterpretted. It more seemed like a cat and mouse game or rather a rockstar and disillusioned fan game througout the night. I guess he showed me.

And, it's that type of fan [non]support that has really soured my idealistic impressions of years yonder.

But I disgress, this comment section is about Tom's solo work and this is why I originally started to post in this scetion. I didn't want to tangent about a dumb interchange between me and eric. Let's grow up, shall we? Therefore, I notice that Tom has added a buch of solo dates to the southwest and California. Check him out if it's in your area. He will be appearing on rockline on 5/1 @ 11:30pm eastern, 9:30pm pacific. He encourages fans to call in to talk with him @ 1-800-344-ROCK, His CD 'drops' on 4/30/13 and it has been featured in the Delco News networks as one the the top 10 albums not to be missed this spring.

wow gar! thanks for posting and exaplaining. that's not wierd at all. once you let you guard down and explain yourself from your perspective, it's better and easier to comprehend. Kinda like Nexium, the purple pill.

your story about that night is not odd or dumb or even misguided.

trust me on this...metalboy! is the "weird" one who's hard to explain; even misguided on occasion. don't fault her. she's doing her best...as we all are.

oh, and for some off-the-cuff reason which I still don't know why, I'll post this. I never truly understood the mick jaggar/steve tyler compassion. They're so different. weirdly, I understand the sameness of mick and keifer. go figure

yup, meant comparrison, but compassion still works, however misguided. thanks and I'll see you at M3. c'mon MB. I'll right some new material and I'll write some new songs, too.

I ALWAYS tangled with her from a professional point-of-view, thought process, basically, how one lives and pretend thee life.

meanwhile, as I go straight to hell, I know that you fucked with me personally. sure, one can argue that a professional life if "the" personal life, but I sing, "duh, dumbass". instead, she went after me on her very personal level. end of story.
straight from the jiz, himself:

SORRY GUYS! ONE OF THE GIGS TRIED TO FORCE A PAY-CUT ON THE BAND AT THE LAST MINUTE. A SO-CALLED 'REDUCTION.' SO INSTEAD OF 5 SHOWS WE ARE ENDING OUR MINI-TOUR AT M3...BUT IN BETTER NEWS M3 HAS DECIDED TO SWITCH US FROM SIDE STAGE TO THE MAIN STAGE SO GET THERE EARLY AND ROCK!!

5/1 – The Deadhorse Music Hall – McKees Rocks, PA

5/2 – The Tap House – Akron, OH

5/4 – M3 Festival (day)

that being said...to nikki: have I ever (and if so, tell me), ragged on your personal life? ever? or just your professional pontifications? you took it personally and attacked me...unprecedented!

I was always able to seperate the two...too bad for FTS that your fan club was unable to do so. (you, too)

that was the entire point of my prior post. dumbass!
