Stryper, Live at Frontiers Rock Festival

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the biggest Stryper fan, but I have to give the guys in the band credit, they are always solid live. I can see why Froniters chose Stryper to headline their festival earlier this month.

I've also not ever been a big fan until this most recent record. It really is amazing. Plus I've seen them live and they're prob one of the most talented out there.

Stoked they're on The Monsters of Rock Cruise next year. I've seen 'em 3 times in recent years and they are incredible.

Talent to burn, but obviously not in h*ll.

p.s. As I've said before, my theory as to why their latest may be their best, aside from today's production technology, is Michael Sweet's stints in Boston effecting his songwriting. Also, I would add, it probably doesn't hurt that these guys answer to a higher power and want to deliver a product up to what they believe should be a higher standard.

The Ripper loves Stryper! First saw them in NJ in 1986 at Montclaire HS auditorium, they were awesome then and still are today! Jack is very spiritual also, having God on my shoulder has never let me down and same goes for The Mighty Stryper!

Im not into their agenda driven spiel but a solid band that still rocks as well as ever, nonetheless. More power to em!

I think their latest album is their strongest by far. I always wanted to like their 80's stuff, but it was just inferior.

Never had the chance to see them live, so I can't comment on that. But if the years have culminated into what we heard on the latest album, I'm all in. It is fantastic.
