'Tom Sawyer' Megamix

It's hard to believe, but RUSH are celebrating the 35th anniversary of Moving Pictures. As part of celebrating that milestone, the band just dropped a "Tom Sawyer" megamix, featuring clips from live performances over the past decade or so. Very cool.

That's worth watching just for Alex Lifesons silliness onstage alone. Along with being possibly the most underrated guitarist alive,he's a fricki' blast to watch. Add in the best drummer on the planet and a guy who can seemingly play 3 instruments (proficiently )simultaneously, while singing,,and it becomes must see. I'm glad I was fortunate enough to see these guys 3 times back when they were guitar centric, ending with the Moving Pictures tour. They were incredible. Too bad they may never do it again due to Pearts body breaking down, and his unwillingness to tour because of it and his family.
Sorry Peart's body's breaking down but they could keep it going. Since these guys aren't exactly Led Zeppelin, they should just follow in the footsteps of the likes of AC/DC, G n'R and Cheap Trick, far better bands than RUSH, I might add, who all have very successfully replaced their drummers.

Besides these guys were better BEFORE Peart. Actually, maybe they should just call it quits since the singer sounds like the 5th member of Little Alvin & The Chipmunks, anyway.

One thing you did get right, Gary, is LIFESON, who, as I've said before, should have gone out on his own years ago and formed his own band called LIFESON in, you got it... BIG CHROME LETTERING!

RUSH does have one of the coolest logos though.

I love the big chrome lettering idea Metalboy! Even though I'm not the biggest Rush fan, it would be almost wrong to replace Peart now. He's been part of the band so long..
