Aerosmith To Play New Orleans Jazz Fest!

The article headline says it all: Aerosmith will play New Orleans Jazz Fest on Saturday, May 5. As of right now, I'm planning on attending. General Admission tickets are just $65. The fest itself runs across two weekends and there are tons of acts on the bill. I'm not looking forward to the 13 hour drive (each way) but flights are outrageous right now. Since Aerosmith isn't getting any younger, I figure I better take my chances to see them while I can!

I suppose “Big Ten Inch Record” could be considered Jazz but little else about this has anything to do with it.

However, I guess the criteria for Rock acts playing Jazz Frsts all changed long ago.
