Deep Purple, 'Throw My Bones' -- New Video

I love that bands I admire are still making music and still making videos (not just lyric videos). I find this video humorous, in a particularly British way (note the wave while the airplane gets ready to transition to the runway). It is also well done visually. My only complaint? I wish you never saw the astronaut’s face. I prefer if it remained a blank slate, save for the cheeky reference to the previous album.
As I noted a few months ago, I saw Purple with Joyous Wolf in Reno not too long ago. The young band was entertaining, relishing the chance they had and making the most of it. But Purple held their own, as well they should. And Gillen sounded better than he did the last time I saw them, on tour with Priest at Shoreline. That was the show where Priest sounded tired. But Purple were spry (both times), for their respective ages.
Ezrin seems to fit Purple at this moment in time. I really enjoyed Now What?! For me, Infinite was okay. I hope this album is closer to the former in mood and tone. Who knows? At this point, Purple can pretty much do whatever they want. But I certainly want to hear them, and see them, again.
Your thoughts?
