So this is cool: a podcast is coming that features 60 hours of exclusive interviews during the Rolling Stones 1972 summer tour. Apparently the audio hasn't been heard before. The podcast is called Stones Touring Party and is part of the iHeartPodcast series.

W.A.S.P. Postpones US Tour

W.A.S.P. singer Blackie Lawless injured his back and as a result, the band's American tour is canceled. W.A.S.P. has been on the road celebrating 40 years as a band.

Blackie has a herniated disk and broken vertebrae. He was doing shows in Europe in April and May in extreme pain. So much pain, in fact, that fans could notice something was definitely off. The back problems stem from a broken leg years ago. Pain has a tendency to radiate, especially where the back is concerned. Eventually, the pain meant Blackie was performing the end of the European dates while seated in a chair.

The American leg of the tour will pick up in 2024. For now, Blackie is going through physical therapy to hopefully heal his bad back. As someone who developed Piriformis Syndrome and had an episode so bad it radiated up my back, I have extreme sympathy. Then there was the time I had two herniated disks and spent way too many sessions in traction. Playing live in a Metal band is a very physical job and I wish Blackie well in his recovery. Back injuries take forever to heal.

Isolated Vocals: Ann Wilson

Here's another amazing Reddit find! Isolated vocals of Ann Wilson of Heart singing their classic "Barracuda." Listening to the song this way gave me chills. Everyone knows that Ann Wilson has a magic voice, but hearing "Barracuda" like this is an entirely different experience than listening to the single version. The power in her voice is unreal. Get about 90 seconds in and listen to Ann hit those high notes - unreal!

Aerosmith At Woodstock '94 - Full Performance

T.G.I.F in the biggest way possible!

Thanks to Reddit - I found the video below! Woodstock '94 had about an zillion awesome headline acts. One of them was Aerosmith and I was so devastated that I was way too young to attend this festival. I remember watching the whole thing on MTV the entire weekend it was happening. I will say the rain and mud didn't look too fun, but there is no doubt that '94 was way better than the catastrophe that was Woodstock '99.

'Victorious' - Nita Strauss Featuring Dorothy

I was driving to work this morning and happened to catch the song "Victorious" by Nita Strauss featuring Dorothy. The track grabbed me as I was already a big Dorothy fan. The song is on Nita's new album The Call Of The Void that came out earlier this month. I just haven't had time to listen to the entire album yet and somehow missed this track.

The track is catchy and I think you will enjoy it like I do!

This Really Happened - And They Are Not Twins!

He really looks like Bret Michaels and got to meet our Glam hero last Thursday night. Bret Michaels (the real one) was in Michigan for a stop on his summer Parti-Gras tour. During the VIP meet and greet session, superfan Chris Stiles finally got to meet Bret. Apparently Stiles has been trying to met Bret for four years, but every VIP event Stiles has purchased was canceled... until last week.

Talk about attention to detail! Stiles got replica fake tattoos to match Bret's real ones to make the photo below more realistic. Stiles also hit the gym hard and visited tanning beds to keep his body like Bret's too... just for that magic meeting and photo moment. Now that the meeting happened, Stiles says he's done keeping up appearances - literally! Talking to MLive, Stiles explains:

“Truly, my end goal was to meet Bret Michaels dressed like him. It took me four years to do this and I don’t have any future plans of dressing like him. It’s very difficult to keep up the body at 58. You’ve got to work out a lot and tan. It’s a lot of work. I’ve kind of reached the peak of the mountain, so to speak, in meeting him.”
